Saturday, May 19, 2018

Lucretia Fairchild has a master’s degree from the University of Chicago in developmental psychology. She has worked extensively with preschoolers and infants, including a study on preschooler selective attention and an infant study of early empathy. Her focus is how we can raise children to enable a better society, meaning raising children for whom prosociality – giving, helping, cooperating, empathizing – is second nature, and is encouraged and well-developed throughout childhood.
