2023 Annual Conference

Workshop Proposals

2023 INA Conference Speaker Proposals

The International Nanny Association (INA) is a non-profit educational association dedicated to elevating and nurturing the quality of childcare throughout the world, is primarily made up of nannies and newborn care specialists and those who employ, place and educate nannies. On May 4 – 7, 2023 at the Doubletree Hilton by SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida, our industry will gather from across the globe to learn and network with like-minded individuals, all of whom share the common goal of providing the highest level of child care.

INA Conferences attract 200-250 attendees. Our annual conference is made up of three workshop tracks (Nanny, Newborn Care Specialist, and Business (for all industry businesses). We also welcome proposals for a General Session that addresses our conference audience as a whole.

INA is a 501 C (3) non-profit organization and strives to keep conference expenses contained. As a result, workshop presenters often donate their time to the organization by sharing their expertise as a pro-bono gift, including their travel expenses. If you feel that you are not able to provide your workshop as a gift to INA, but you believe your topic is one that will enhance our conference attendees knowledge, please indicate your specific requested costs on the speaker proposal form and our workshop committees will review each request.  You may also contact Marcia Hall, INA Executive Director and Conference Coordinator: info@nanny.org, and she will put you in touch with the appropriate program chairperson to discuss compensation.

Your initial proposal must be received no later than October 3, 2022. If your proposal is accepted, you will be notified on or before November 1, 2022. You will then receive information regarding further steps you need to take in order to secure your workshop for 2023 Conference in Orlando, Florida.

These steps will include:

1 – Providing additional information such as Official Title and Description, Speaker Headshot and Bio, Audio and Visual requests, details about your conference attendance, public contact information, and a digitally signed Speaker Contract. These will be due November 15, 2022 and you will be introduced as a speaker via social media in November, December or January.

2- (NEW FOR 2023) Speakers will be asked to virtually attend an INA Chapter Meeting before the conference to share some basic info about their presentation and raise awareness of the topic.

3 – (NEW FOR 2023) Speakers will be asked to use an INA branded slide presentation we will provide to you for if using a projector to share slides. This will be provided to you by February 1, 2023 so you have time to prepare.

4 – (NEW FOR 2023) All chosen speakers will be asked to pre-record a 40-50 minute video session that will be used for all Virtual Attendees and those who purchase the workshop recording package. This new process will be in lieu of live-streaming or recording the in-person workshops. This is being done to insure our virtual attendees will be able to hear the entire content of the session. These videos will be due to the INA office by April 25, 2023.

5 – (NEW FOR 2023) Speakers will also be asked to provide a digital handout that can be added to the INA Google Drive and made available to all attendees – in-person and virtual. This can simply be a PDF of your slides or something more detailed. These will be due April 25, 2023.
