Louise Dunham

Louise is an advocate for the need for nannies to be recognised as childcare professionals and to be legally paid and supported.
She believes very strongly that you must work within childcare organisations to bring about improvements within that industry. This is particularly pertinent to an industry that must keep children safe at its main purpose.
Louise is the mother of Sianan Tierney who is delivering this workshop with her and also owns Placement Solutions.
Louise Dunham is the CEO and founder of Placement Solutions, an In-Home Childcare firm, established in 1988.
From 2022 Louise served on the ACEQUA Advisory Board (Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority, an independent statutory authority that assists governments in implementing the National Quality Framework for early childhood education and continue her work done in 2007 with the Senate Steering Committee.
In 2022 Louise received the Meritous Honour Award for 2022 presented by the INA.
In 2022 and 2023 Louise ran INA Chapter meetings in Australia.
In 2018 we received APNA (Association of Premier Nanny Agencies) awards Agency Excellence and for Louise, a Lifetime Achievement Award.
In 2016, Louise wrote The State of The Nanny and ran Nanny Palooza OZ together with Sue Downey.
From 2012 until 2017 Louise served on the INA board, the first non-American and only Australian to do so. She served as Vice President and the Chair of the Ethics Committee.
Louise is past VP of the Australian Home Childcare Association Inc. (AHCA) Board.
